Amanda and Landon’s Wedding|Centennial Park|Northwest Indiana Drapery
Amanda and Landon celebrated their love with friends and family by tying the knot at Centennial Park in Northwest Indiana with dancing, food, elegant decorations and luxurious drapery.
A beautiful ceremony was held outside on the terrace of Centennial Park, over looking the sparkling water while attendees were warmed by the sun. The maid of honor read a scripture passage starting the ceremony. As Amanda and Landon said their vows, the pastor gave everyone a giggle by having Landon repeat “I do” three times. They tasted the 4 elements of life- sour, bitter, sweet and spicy to remind them of the different trials and beauty they would share in their new journey together through life.
Amanda was a vision in her white dress with a pink lace ruffled bottom, Landon was dapper in his beige suit as they kissed and became husband and wife.
Guests walked inside the hall to be awe struck by a beautifully decorated room of white, pink and peach colors. White drapery stretched from foot to ceiling, enveloping the room in an elegant and luxurious feel. Paper flower balls at the entrance sat next to the floral patterned guest cards. White chair covers with sashes of pink ribbon gave splashes of color to the room. Centerpieces were hand made by the bride with gold, pink and white flowers. The cake was four tiers with a pink sash and topped with a diamond letter B monogram. A sweetheart table covered in peach was at the back of the hall for Amanda and Landon to enjoy.
Dinner was cucumber wrapped salads, a plated meal of lemon chicken, string beans and mashed potatoes. As guests were enjoying food, the DJ walked the room with his microphone and asked people for advice to give to the newlyweds. People also offered words of encouragement and toasted the bride and groom. Later on guests danced the night away, enjoying the music the DJ played and ambiance of the night.
