Angela and Andrew’s IU vs Purdue Wedding | Centennial Park Photobooth
Angela and Andrew created a unique wedding with both IU and Purdue fans, Spanish fare, an elegant room with uplighting and drapery overlooking Centennial Park’s pond, photobooth, and lots of dancing that almost took us to the level below!
Guests arrived at Centennial Park to the horns of Mariachi del Sol. Later on in the evening, they serenaded tables to the songs of La Bamba, Volver Volver and more. As guests entered the hall, they took in the white drapery, pink uplighting, white chair covers with pink sashes, and bouquets of various heights on the tables.
The grand entrance was straight out of a Bulls game with red lights chasing around the room and white spotlights moving around the room. Each couple used props from the photobooth including glasses and hats. Andrew and Angela didn’t even use a plate when they cut their cake and weren’t shy to use their hands either.
Cops, prison bars, and mug shots were taken in the photobooth all night long. Guests enjoyed sharing their 2×6 photo strips with 3 photos via Facebook, Instagram, text, and email. Other props were sombreros, maracas, viking hats, along with IU and Purdue flags and signs.
Glenwood Oaks provided a Spanish meal of carne asada, refried beans, rice, and more. Chips and salsa as appetizers and boneless wings for late night snacks helped keep the party going.
The floor felt like it was going to give way from all the dancing. IU and Purdue fans rivaled each other during their fight song and the White Sox fans were strong in attendance as the Cubs fans were quieted. Andrew retrieved the garter in a Goldeneye 007 fashion, spotlight and all.
