Brett and Nancy’s Rustic Wedding | Wicker Park Social Center | Photobooth
Nancy and Brett stunned guests as they arrived at Wicker Park Social Center for their wedding ceremony and reception. A live performance, light rain, fireball shots, DJ, and White Castle really turned the wedding into an unforgettable unity of two families.
White chairs, flowers, and voil were set upon the handrails and gazebo surrounded by fountains for a gorgeous ceremony. Heavy drizzle brought the ceremony inside as all were about to enjoy the mini cheeseburgers and barbecue meatballs. The dancefloor was covered in Chinese lanterns and the tables glowed from the firefly lights in the mason jars.
Social media was buzzin with #bnmarried as guests snapped photos. Funny signs, glasses, and a gold chain were hit props for the photobooth. The guests enjoyed sharing photos from the social media sharing station and choosing which photo strip to keep for themselves and which to place in the memory book for Nancy and Brett to cherish for years to come. Each guest received a magnetic photo strip holder to take home with their photo strip.
Nancy’s step father sang and performed “The Way You Look Tonight” on the guitar after a small toast to the newlyweds. This very heartfelt moment was followed up by the newlywed game in which the maid of honor and best man shared questions with Nancy and Brett. Hockey sticks and bouquets were lifted to answer the question with who is the best answer, Brett or Nancy.
Dancing kicked off with a few polkas and Cambodian songs just before the garter and bouquet toss. White Castle’s chicken rings and cheeseburgers were brought in just after a shot line wrapped around the room for fireball shots.
