Brian and Nicole’s Slam Dunk Wedding | Avalon Manor | Uplighting

Brian and Nicole’s wedding was a slam dunk at Avalon Manor. Sunglasses kept the guests from being blinded by love, and exquisite uplighting highlighted the head table and enhanced late night dancing.

With the sun blazing, the bride and groom provided custom designed fans, sunglasses and bottles of water to keep their guests cool during the reception in the gazebo. The laughs came bellowing out as Rick Astley’s hit, “Never gonna give you up” was the lyrical inspiration for the bride and grooms vows, both reciting: “Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you”

 

 

 

 

 

After the ceremony, the guests walked to the reception hall which was incandescently glowing all night with dramatic

uplighting and drapery which highlighted the head table in washes of Tiffany blue and multiple color changing effects during dancing.
In the center of the hall, a cupcake pyramid stood adorned with a diamond studded “M” cake topper, red roses and Tiffany blue icing. Guests enjoyed dunking and taking shots on a children’s basketball hoop to prompt the bride and groom to kiss rather than clinking glasses.
Instagram feeds were a buzz all night long as the wedding party and guests took photos and uploaded them with hashtags online, giving live coverage of the wedding. Late in the night guests got low under the Tiffany blue and red ribbon limbo stick.
