Carolyn and Sean’s Grand Slam Wedding | Schererville Photobooth
Banquets at St. George of Schererville, Indiana was turned into a field of dreams as Carolyn and Sean hit a grand slam on the night of their wedding reception. The band, favors, photobooth, and place cards were all MVP’s in the big game.
Walking in fans received tickets to the big game set out alphabetically that were adorned by pictures of Sean and Carolyn to help them find which stadium they were sitting in. Before they found their seats, fans autographed a black and white “Delby” jersey as a keepsake. They then placed their cards in a mailbox that said “P.S. I Love You.”
Hostesses served appetizers that included bruschetta, shrimp cocktail, and bbq meatballs. While family style dinner was chicken, pasta with Italian sausage, potatoes, and green beans. Coming in relief was chocolate or white cake from a two tier cake with a topper that stated “All of me, loves all of you,” a lyric form John Legend’s song, “All of Me.”
2 identical strips containing an engagement photo at the bottom were a favor for guests to take home that went to bat in the photobooth. The other favor was a custom wrapped chocolate bar, caramel bar, or peanut butter bar. Guests took photos with mohawks, mustaches on sticks, baseball glasses, football glasses, and other fun props.
A team from the Connexion Band came in from Chicago to perform the big game. They sang everything from line dances, crooner music, to some new Taylor Swift and Mark Ronson. With the bases loaded, a few fans sang solos for all to remember.
