Mr. & Mrs. Reed Wedding Makeover- Centennial Park – Munster, Indiana – Uplighting, Drapery
Centennial Park in Munster, Indiana underwent a wedding makeover for Mr. and Mrs. Reed’s July 14th wedding reception with full room drapery and uplighting.
Three of the banquet room’s four walls were covered in floor to ceiling drapery, covering cabinets and countertops and only exposing the wall of beautiful windows overlooking the pond outside at the adjacent park.
The couple chose a simple but elegant one tier cake that was pin spotted by 219 Productions to make it even more beautiful. They served matching cupcakes to their guests. Beautiful black chair covers with white bows also dotted the room.
Another way the wedding kept a unique style was the footwear of the groom and groomsmen, who wore laced skater shoes with their Tiffany blue vests and traditional tuxedos. The tuxes nicely complemented the bridesmaids’ purple dresses.
Purple was the color of the night with purple uplighting highlighting the curtains. When dancing started, stars and hearts also highlighted the ceiling.
The couple’s first dance was to “Crazy Love” by Michael Buble, one of the couple’s favorite artists. They also chose to do the anniversary dance, where everyone dances until the amount of years they’ve been married has been called, leaving the longest married couple standing. For that dance, they chose “Don’t Want To Miss a Thing” and “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.”
Later in the evening the groom removed the garter to the song “Stayin’ Alive” though little did he know his first attempt was unsuccessful because it was a groomsman’s leg in front of him instead of his new bride’s. Eventually he found the correct leg and tossed the garter to the song “Eye of the Tiger.”
