Christina and Nico’s Lifetime of Love and Happiness | Wicker Park | Photo Booth
Nico and Christina celebrated their wedding reception at Wicker Park Social Center. A couple of surprises, desserts galore, and photo booth made for an unforgettable wedding!
Guests were greeted by photos of the newlyweds as they entered with two tables; one dedicated to loved ones who could not be there, and the other for their guest book. The reception was decorated with coral and burlap.
The centerpieces consisted of white flowers and pink roses in a vase wrapped with glittery gold and burlap on top of a gold plate. Small candles with gold and white hearts surrounded the centerpieces to pull the whole look together.
Everyone stood to their feet as Nico and Christina made their grand entrance as Mr. and Mrs. Solis to Bruno Mars’ “Marry Me”. This was followed by the cutting of their 4 tier wedding cake which was decorated completely of coral roses with the remaining white tiers being decorated with beads. Their cake topper was gold glittery letters reading Mr. & Mrs. Solis.
Dinner was family style with fried chicken, beef, potatoes, green beans, Italian sausage and mostaccioli. Nico and Christina’s reception certainly did not lack in sweets as they had 2 dessert tables filled with cheesecakes, chocolate turtles, cream puffs, Mexican pastries and more.
2×6 burlap polka dot photo strips printed out for everyone that stopped by the photo booth. Props were Hispanic themed with sombreros, maracas, and a serape for photo booth goers to wear.
After dinner, Nico and Christina shared their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Solis. The night’s entertainment included Mariachi Mexico Vivo playing during dinner and later the DJ opening up the dance floor to guests. The highlight of the enterainment was when the couples cousin “Kid Scratch” DJ’d for the part of night and practically had everyone on the dance floor.
Nico and Christina’s reception was one to remember with desserts galore, 2 DJs, a mariachi band and photo booth to capture memories. Want to make your night one to remember? Click on the contact tab on the right to find out more!

August 3, 2016at7:42 pmThat’s so funny. I was reading your blog for something else totally unrelated and saw ‘Nico’ and thought NO WAY. I’ve known him for years and knew he got married, but it’s funny to see him here as well. Great work 🙂
