Derek & Emily’s Wedding | Serbian Social Center | Lansing, IL | Uplighting, Photo Booth
When Derek and Emily held their reception Sept. 22 at Serbian Social Center in Lansing, Illinois, they made sure to include all their loved ones.
Derek and Emily were joined by their son as they made their grand entrance into dinner. The couple and their son cut the cake to the song “Grow old with you” from “The Wedding Singer” before having some fun smashing it into Derek’s face. The five-tiered jeweled wedding cake featured a beautiful bride and groom silhouette as its cake topper.
The couple’s first dance was to “Precious Love” by James Morrison. Afterward the bride danced with her dad and the groom danced with his mom, before doing an in-law dance where the bride danced with her new father-in-law and the groom danced with his new mother-in-law.
219 Productions also made everyone’s evening brighter with computerized uplighting and two customized gobos featuring the couple’s first names and their wedding date. The photo booth with its fun purple curtains and lively photo booth attendant entertained guests all night. As the night got later, guests began wearing the photo booth props onto the dance floor for some memorable photos.
Later in the night, their adorable son stole the show once again when he came out in a Batman cape and mask to help his dad with the garter removal, which took place to Batman’s theme song.
