Dykstra Postma Wedding Fiesta | Photo Booth | Highland, Indiana

A Mexico themed photo booth was a fiesta at the Dykstra – Postma wedding on December 29^th at Wicker Park in Highland, Indiana.

Mustaches on a stick, sombreros, serapes, and maracas were inside the photo booth to match the honeymoon in Mexico. Everyone took a photo strip home for themselves and left one in a book for the bride and groom. There were many large groups inside the photo booth and they enjoyed that they each received  a photo strip to take home.

The snack bar was full of Chex mix, peanuts, goldfish candies, and more. For dinner we had sirloin beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken Marsala with mushrooms, Italian sausage with penne pasta, and sautéed green beans. Later in the night trays of ham buns were brought out for a late night snack. The centerpieces were made from giant wine glasses with a sparkly water substance, a white water proof light, and a winter floral arrangement on top.

 

White uplighting and dj services were provided by Stevie Dee of Operation Get Down DJs. Stevie Dee asked everyone to hold up a piece of silverware and tap a glass in front of them. This would be the last time of the night when a guest could have the bride and groom kiss in that way. There were two options to have the bride and groom kiss.  1. Mirror Kiss – a couple performs a kiss and the bride and groom mirror the performance. 2. Open Mic – someone shares a special moment or memory of the bride and groom with the audience.
