Henry’s Suit and Chai Bar Mitzvah | Center for Visual and Performing Arts | Uplighting
Henry celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts with some high Energy DJs, city skylines, uplighting, photobooth, and a milk and cookie toast!
Walking in guests were greeted by a huge “suit and chai” sign which was the theme for the evening. As they continued, they came across a seating chart with Henry’s Bar Mitzvah custom design on it. The Center for Visual and Performing arts was decked out in light blue uplighting, the city scapes were highlighted with amber and white uplighting to really make them pop. An oversized, highlighted balloon stood out among the others the moon above a few skyscrapers. Tables were draped in black linens with a silver sash across them for a clean sophisticated look. Skyscapers with white and blue led candle lights were the centerpieces surrounded by silver chargers that had white and black napkins folded into a suit with a blue tie on top. The favors were “Oh Henry” bars which were also incorporated into the video montage from when Henry was a baby.
The high energy MC, DJ, and dancers had the guests in a frenzy all night dancing, throwing their hands up, pointing, clapping, and playing games like Coke and Pepsi, the hugging game, and snowball. Hats, glow necklaces and other prizes were given away to the dancers, trivia winners, and more. After the video montage, mom and dad gave speeches, then Henry’s younger brother led the milk and cookies toast!
Tucked away in the back corner was a photobooth where everyone crammed in for 3 photos on a strip below the custom design of Henry and Psy mashup. The photobooth props were very popular and seemed to walk out to the dancefloor and make their way back along with the blinged out dollar sign chains and hats the dancers passed out. All the photos were uploaded into a Wedpics gallery.
