IUN Student Nurses Association Against Domestic Violence 5k | Nina Castro Benefit 2015 | Photo Booth
The rain and wind didn’t stop the guests from coming out to the benefit at Lake County Fairgrounds as many guests and vendors showed up to support alongside 27 Entertainments DJs and 219 Photobooths photo booth.
Guests arrived to plenty of upbeat music under the pavillion. There they met with the 5k race sign in people and some other vendors like St. Catherine’s Hospital, Haven House Family Advocate Center, IUN Student Nurses Association, The Caring Place Inc., and more.
After all checked in they danced, socialized, and took some free pictures in the photo booth. There were plenty of props that weren’t flying away like signs, glasses, and the championship belt. 2×6 photo strips had a purple ribbon for domestic violence and the location where all the photos could be seen after the benefit.
The 5k walk/run took place around the Lake County Fairgrounds on the hilly terrrain. It seemed like a great time for all the friends and family walking together with the few runners getting in some practice. The unofficial total amount raised was about $6,000 going to Nina Castro’s Family and NWI Domestic Violence.
