Jackie and Anthony’s Lavender Extravaganza | Wicker Memorial Park Social Center| DJ Service

Jackie and Anthony’s wedding at Wicker Memorial Park Social Center in Highland, Indiana was a sight to see, with a lovely outdoor gazebo ceremony, photo booth, purple uplighting, and DJ Service.

Jackie and Anthony set the mood for their reception with giant lanterns marking the entrance to the walkway of the ceremony. Classical music was played by a violinist while Jackie was walked down the isle to meet a smiling Anthony. After the ceremony, guests quickly crowded back in to the room that was washed in beautiful purple uplighting, tying together the lavender, ivory, grey and purple elements Jackie worked so hard to detail the wedding in. Elegant centerpieces featuring sprays of purple flowers gave ambiance to the WickerPark as well as hand made painted table numbers and custom designed menus in lavender that Jackie created. The cake was a three tier white chocolate and blackberry butter cream dream, and dinner was a family style spread of salad, beef sirloin, pasta primavera, green beans and mashed potatoes.

After dinner guests got funky on the dance floor with the DJ’s light show, which highlighted impromptu dance offs, and giant circle dances. Glow-sticks thrown out into the crowd by the DJ Service brought the party to the next level and club-style mixing had Jackie and Anthony on the dance floor all night long. The dollar dance was a special treat, as all money donated in the dollar dance went to the William J. Riley Memorial Residence, a local hospice service.

Later in the night, a taco bar was provided and guests celebrated by indulging to fuel the late night dancing they were doing, while bopping in and out of the photobooth. The photo booth  featured a 4×6 custom designed strip with three color photos. Party goers had their choice of fun props to wear, like championship wrestling belts, giant glasses, mustaches on a stick and shiny wigs.The night ended with the bridal party and guests taking turns dancing on a chair in the middle of the dance floor.
