Julie and Eric’s Chucks | Avalon Manor | Hobart, Indiana | Photo Booth
Julie and Eric joined hearts and lives at Avalon Manor, starting their ceremony 20 minutes early and beating the torrential downpour that came soon after. Inside the hall they celebrated with a night of dancing, eating and photo booth pictures.
Julie and Eric are sweet and unique and their love story is one that starts out deliciously. Eric took Julie out on 12 Monday night dates to La Hacienda after their first date there. Clearly the drinks and company must have been great, as Eric later on asked Julie to marry him in a funny and sweet way. He wrote “Will you marry me” on a pair of Chuck Taylor’s and presented them to the love of his life.
Their wedding reception was not short of funny and sweet moments either, as they both entered like the Chicago Bulls with search lights going off all over the hall, guests clapping and hollering in epic fashion to the Top Gun theme song. Both donned Chuck Taylor’s and danced the night away in matching shoes.
The hall was decorated in Champagne tones and guests received champagne bubbles, gold matchbooks, and chocolate mint balls to take home. Dinner was served, the cake was cut, and the garter and bouquet were tossed at the same time.
The photo booth was there the whole time, capturing the memories. The photo strip was a pretty design featuring a tree with the couples names and dates. Props were hand-held signs, fedoras, hot dog hats, various glasses and Mardi Gras masks.
A desert table was in the hall, tempting guests with a yummy spread. Many guests left by 10, but the last 40 stayed and partied until the very end of the night with dancing, a big group photo, and popping in the photobooth.
