Kate and Jason’s Best Day of their Lives | Munster, Indiana | Wedding DJ
The Center for Visual and Performing Arts of Munster hosted Kate and Jason’s wedding reception as they celebrated their new journey together as husband and wife. The photo booth, candy table favors, slideshow, and dancing to the dj made an exceptional kickoff to this new chapter in their lives.
Right after their grand entrances, Jason surprised Kate with their first dance song in which Jason played guitar and sang while Kate’s father played the drums for it. They then cut the 3 tier blinged out cake that had a “J” cake topper.
Tall vases with white flower tops and candles of various heights gave the tables elevation and light to the inside of the room as white uplighting spotted the walls. The gift table displayed the canvases that Kate and Jason created, which Jason had used his to propose during a painting class.
Black and white or color photos in the photo booth were printed on the 2×6 photo strip with monogram on the top. Blow up guitars and boomboxes, captain and police glasses, and the chicken and hot dog hat made for some surprising pictures to be cherished in the memory book for years to come.
There was no shortage of dancing after the parent dances. Kate danced with her mom to a special selection of “Sweet Child of Mine,” grandma was on the floor with her walker creating a dance circle, and the night ended with a conga line forming on the dance floor then weaving through the tables on both sides of the dance floor.
Guests took home bags of candy from the dessert table full of M&M’s, gummie bears, Dum Dums, chocolate pretzels, heart-shaped gummies, and more. The candy table was highlighted by a white monogram that matched the photo booth strips.
