Keith and Nikki’s Video Party | St. Patrick’s Parish Trinity Hall | Uplighting

Keith and Nikki came to us (specifically their close friend and DJ, Paul Segal)  a little over a year ago to perform at their wedding reception. Paul was shocked that he had the honor to entertain and a few curves were thrown at him along the way, the big one being music videos. Holding their reception at St. Patrick’s Parish  Trinity Hall with cupcakes, a dessert table, coffee table, uplighting, and a few other surprises was a blast that received many compliments.

 

Having hosted many backyard and garage parties of his own, Keith really wanted to show his passion for music videos and being a dj himself at the wedding. This was achieved through dual flat screen televisions directed towards the two sides of the dance floor for all guests to view.

A monogram with their names and wedding date was displayed on the flat screens early in the evening and for great photo opportunities. During the start of dinner, a slideshow which Keith worked on for over 20 hours was displayed showcasing family and friends. Once dancing began, music videos were shown. One favorite video was Garth Brook’s live version of “Friends in Low Places” as Garth had just performed the evening before.

The wedding wasn’t all about music videos though. A shoe game had everyone falling off their chairs with laughter just before the first dances. Upon arrival, guests had some great appetizers of bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, beef wellington, coconut shrimp and more as they came down the stairs at St. Patrick’s Parish Trinity Hall. Dinner soon followed with a spread of pork loin, pot roast, chicken marsala and some sides. The dessert bar opened up featuring 4 different cupcakes, tiramisu, apple crisp, eclaires plus a few others. Purple and pink uplighting highlighted the columns, the head tables, and the wall behind the wedding party was splashed with color too.
