Mark and Theresa could not have asked for more beautiful weather at their June 23rd wedding ceremony overlooking the water at Centennial Park in Munster, Indiana.

After the wedding ceremony, the party kicked off in Hammond, Indiana at Dynasty Banquets. At the bride and groom’s request, the double tiered head table had a beautiful drapery backdrop and red uplighting, hiding a mural that typically covers the wall. The couple chose a custom monogram or gobo with their names lit up inside of a heart, which made a memorable background to their photos.

Dynasty’s beautiful grand staircase was used as the bridal party and new Mr. and Mrs. Markusic entered to songs “Wonder Years theme song,” Black Eyed Peas – “I Gotta Feeling,” and Motley Crue’s – “Kick Start My Heart.” The couple then cut their cake to Def Leppard’s – “Pour some sugar on me.” Next it was onto toasts and then dinner where the couple’s Polish heritage was showcased as guests dined on sauerkraut and sausage. As the party continued into the night, guests danced to many polkas as well as traditional wedding must plays.

Those who needed a break from dancing enjoyed the photobooth, so much so that its many fun props began to spill out onto the dance floor. Acrylic photo strip holders were given away as mementos of the joyous night.
