Martell and Derek’s Sweet Reception|The Croation Center|Merrillville, Indiana|Uplighting

Martell and Derek tied the knot at the Croatian Center in Merrillville, Indiana with food, dancing, candy table, monogram, and elegant blue uplighting

Guests entered the hall after a heartfelt outdoor ceremony held at the gazebo. The Croatian Center hall was decorated with  splashes of  turquoise and cyan uplighting that added an elegant flare to the venue. A monogram with the bride and grooms name and wedding date was displayed on curtains behind the head table which was also framed by blue uplighting.

All throughout the hall, amazing DIY decorations added sophistication and elegance. Every table had a different centerpiece, created by hand with swashes of feathers in blues, silvers and turquoises. Black chair covers with white sashes added an element of class.

The cake was a white four tier fondant delight with a capital “C”  topper. Two tall vases with feather plumage sat on the right and left of the cake.

On the other side of the hall, a candy table was decorated in tones of blue, featuring sweets like mints, cookies and cream kisses, fruit rings and suckers. Hershey bars with a photo of the bride and groom adorning them sat out waiting to be munched on by guests.

On the dance floor Martell and her brother busted out some great moves, showing guests how to party and enticing people to the dance floor. Later in the evening the bride and bridesmaids did a dance compilation of Beyonces greatest hits, entertaining the crowd.
