Megan and Garrett’s Singing Love Wedding | Wicker Park Social Center | DJ
Megan and Garrett threw a huge party over Memorial Day weekend at Wicker Park Social Center of Highland, Indiana with White Castles, lots of singing, dancing, DJ, photobooth, uplighting, and much much more.
Megan and Garret were always surrounded by their family and friends. During dinner guests sang songs of love for them to kiss. Kids, groomsmen, grandparents, nearly everybody came up and sang putting on a great show with many many kisses shared by the newlyweds. The dance floor was also full of people singing throughout the night to “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Sweet Caroline,” and others. Fireball shots were taken, twice, as the largest shot line in Wicker Park Social Center history made a stop at the bar as the DJ played fireball and shots.

No one left hungry once hundreds of White Castles showed up late into the evening. The party started with pork tacos and mini grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Italian sausage with penne and marinara, encrusted tilapia, chicken marsala with mushrooms, garlic and cheddar smashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus provided plenty of energy for the dancing all night long.
2×6″ photostrips with a blue background were given to each guest that jumped in and shot a black and white or color photo. Those photos are also hosted in a smugmug gallery. The muscle man chest, hot dog hat, and the glasses with guns on it were by far the most popular props of the reception. A social media sharing station gave guests a chance to email, text, Facebook, or Instagram their photo strips too!
A few other notable moments were when Garrett was handcuffed for the garter removal, guests “leafed” a thumb print for the guest book, and instead of table numbers, each table was named after famous couple’s from movies.
