Parlor Deering Wedding Recipe | Munster, Indiana | Uplighting
Perfect weather, a local celebrity, and a beautifully decorated room with uplighting were a recipe for a great wedding at Centennial Park in Munster, Indiana.
The wedding ceremony took place on a beautiful breezy day in front of the water fountain of Centennial Park. After the vows, a ceremony called hand fasting took place in which a knot is tied making the infinity symbol and represents the oneness as a couple unites.
Wireless purple uplighting underneath the head table and around the room really set the mood and enhanced the colors of the flowers and dresses as guests walked into the room. Jim Bulanda, a local celebrity in his own, set the tone as he multiple covers of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong and more.
The garter was removed to the song Jaws which caused a stir with the guests. Many line dances were learned that evening as the dj taught the Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, and the Electric Slide. As a prelude to their honeymoon cruise in the Mediterranean, “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones was played as the last song of the evening.
