Purdue Calumet Mardi Gras Madness Winter Dance – Purdue University – Hammond, Indiana
Purdue University Calumet’s students were engulfed by the Mardi Gras Madness theme from the registration table to the dance floor. There was something for everybody at this event with a photo booth, all sorts of dancing, decorations, and snacks.
Throughout the night students had many activities to keep them busy.
- Memories In Minutes provided photo booth services that allowed the students to receive a photo strip in their custom Mardi Gras masks and even view the photos online after the dance.
- DJ Segal had a great crowd that really knew how to party. They started a soul train line, learned the cat daddy, danced to some Bachata, threw their hands in the air and more along with other dancing.
- Students created masks, which was the highlight of the evening, which included: most elaborate, most creative, and the worst all around.
Music was requested prior to the event via an electronic request sheet so the dj knew exactly what to play.
Transforming Alumni Hall came with the help of Students Activities for providing the decorations and 219 Productions providing the uplighting.
