Jessica and Colin’s wedding reception at St. Eljiah Serbian Orthodox Church in Merrillville, Indiana took place on August 25, 2012 with a family created slide show, uplighting, and a photo booth with custom photo strips.
As a surprise to the bride and groom, one of the bridesmaids worked with Jessica and Colin’s parents to gather pictures and put together an awesome slide show to show their lives growing up and coming together as one.
Some of the details that really made this wedding unique include country-style window frames with place cards held to twine with clothespins, a well-traveled suit case with “CARDS” hung from the inside, and a three layer inverted wedding cake.
The foyer and reception area were basked in a deep red-orange glow from the uplighting. The photo booth in the foyer area made a great retreat from the dance floor to continue the fun in memorable snapshots. “Jessica and Colin August 25, 2012” adorned the bottom of their photo strips in Edwardian Script.
