The Bells Black and White Wedding | Avalon Manor | Photobooth, Drapery, Uplighting
The Bell’s celebrated their union and reception at Avalon Manor of Merrillville, Indiana. An outdoor ceremony in the West Gazebo was followed by the reception inside the Somerset room with popcorn table, monogram, uplighting, drapery, giant balloons, crystal chandeliers and photobooth.
A keyboard player and singer performed for the ceremony as Camisha walked into John Legend’s “All of Me” with her father. During the ceremony they braided a rope to symbolize man, woman, and god becoming one in marriage. After being introduced husband and wife, they jumped the broom just after being announced as husband and wife sweeping away the old and bringing in the new.
Guests were invited to sit where they would like as the tables had a dinner menu at each place setting and giant balloons flying over floating rosette candle centerpieces. The head table was actually a sweetheart table with gold skirting surrounded by crystal chandeliers that had gold uplighting inside them. A white drapery backdrop and custom monogram with gold uplighting made for an attractive backdrop to the dance floor. The 4 tier cake sat atop a gold skirted round table in the center of the dance floor for all to see.
On the menu for dinner was French cut chicken breast with Tarragon cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, yellow & green zucchini, carrots, and red peppers. Desserts and snacks were many flavors of popcorn including English toffee, white cheddar, French vanilla, and caramel, white fudge covered pretzels, M&M’s, and sea salted cocktail peanuts to keep love poppin’.
4×6 photo strips came out with 3 pictures for everyone that snapped pictures inside the photobooth. Some of the favorite props were the construction vest, crowns and tiaras, wedding sayings on sticks, and various glasses. Late into the night, the giant balloon centerpieces were sent off on a new adventure!
