Thunder Buddies for Life | Marquette Park | Photobooth
Marquette park was lit up for a night of dancing, photos, and great food as Vicky and Rob celebrated their wedding reception.
Dancing was in full swing all night as the blue and light blue uplighting changed colors on the dance floor. The Anniversary dance found the longest married couple to be 59 years and they danced like they were 59 months. A young lady attended the party just months before celebrating her 100th birthday!!!
The photobooth was a big hit with their photo strips matching their wedding invites. 3 photos were on the gold and white strip with a gray drapery backdrop. Guests placed extra copies into a memory book for Vicky and Rob to look back on during those rough thunderstorms.
We found out during the toasts that Rob and Vicky were each others Thunder Buddies. The best man, whom caught the garter later in the night, presented them with a balloon animal set during his toast and to this day, we are still unsure on the real reason behind that, lol.
Flower pots with table numbers were waiting as guests arrived at Marquette Park. They grabbed theirs and a refreshment during cocktail hour downstairs as dinner and dancing took place on the 2nd level. The steak bites and chicken were delicious and a nice dinner before a homemade dessert table opened up with lots of goodies to include chocolate peanut butter balls, cupcakes, popcorn, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries.
