Valentine’s Dance | Griffith Knights of Columbus | Uplighting
The Griffith Knights of Columbus hosted a Valentines Dance with uplighting as a fundraiser for Council 3631.
The Valentine’s theme shined as everyone walked in the door with pink uplighting. The pink uplighting around the room allowed the hall to be very dark and gave off a nice pink hue. Balloons supplied by It’s My Party of Dyer adorned the tables adding more color and another level of decorations. Frosted cookies, marshmallow topped rice Krispy treats, and lots of different cupcakes made the snack table pink, red, and white along with giving everyone sugar highs. Coffee and red punch washed down the snacks.
Throughout the night there was a 50/50 and entertainment.com coupon books for sale. The winner of the 50/50 was in the bathroom during the drawing, but her best friend grabbed her ticket to claim the prize for her. The event was a dance and at one point everybody in the room was on the dance floor. The disc jockey taught the wobble, a line dance originating in 2008, after everyone looked at him in shock when the song came on.
