Veronica and Martin’s Violet Partido | Marquette Park Pavilion | Gary | Uplighting
Marquette Park Pavilion was host to an elegant and tasteful blending of Macedonian and Mexican cultures as Veronica and Martin got married, then partied the night away with friends, family, uplights, dancing and photobooth.
The outdoor ceremony was lovely, as the couple took vows and then proceeded to take photos outside with their photographers. Inside, guests toppled into the lounge area downstairs to enjoy finger foods and cocktails. Upstairs the hall was decorated in stunning white, black, grey and violet accents.
Diamond studded vases floated large flower sprays above the black table clothes. Custom pearl chocolate glass holders were a favor laid out for each guest. Bottles of wine spotted the hall, each signifying a different table number. Violet uplighting splashed the walls a glowing hue. A photobooth sat in the back of the hall ready and waiting to take photos after dinner was finished.
The bride and groom entered walking past a gobo welcoming guests in English, Macedonian and Spanish. A mariachi band serenaded the guests, then the bride and groom, as they cut their antique white cake with cascading flowers. A desert table was in the back of the hall, speckled with delicious pastries, doughnut holes and cookies.
Dinner was a plated style dinner with a gourmet roasted chicken on top of a rice and veggie medley. Toasts were given by the best man, discussing friendship and love. The first dance was tender, as well as the mother-son dance and father-daughter dance. After the traditional dances were finished, Macedonian style circle-dancing took over, mixed in with Spanish style music.
All night long as the violet uplights set the ambiance to the party, guests, friends and family danced until the lights turned on. The photobooth was full throughout the evening, as props made their way from the table onto the dance floor and back in the booth.
