Fondant American Flag Cake - AVMRA HammondA spaghetti dinner benefit for Douglas Rachowicz showed the communities support and generosity for an American Hero. The event was held on March 24th, 2012 at the American Legion Post 232, Hammond, Indiana.

The eagle riders, a U.S. Senator,  AVMRA Chapter 1 (American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association) and many others came out to support Rachowicz, a local veteran from the 713th Engineer Company out of Valparaiso, Indiana who was the only survivor from an IED (improvised explosive device) blast January 6th in Khandahar, Afghanistan.

Munster’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts, also known as  The Theatre at the Center hosted a large crowd for LARC‘s Annual Appreciation Dinner.
