Amy and Jim’s Surprises | William Tell Wedding | Countryside, Illinois

Amy and Jim treated their wedding guests to many special surprises including a fun garter toss, dancing their first dance on a cloud and a late night snack. Jim also surprised Amy with a choreographed dance in her honor during their July 5th wedding reception at the William Tell in Countryside, Illinois.

During the garter toss, Jim jogged up to Amy wearing a sweatband as the song “Faster” by Matt Nathanson played. He made the crowd laugh when he pulled out a giant sized pair of women’s underwear.

For their first dance song, they chose “I Mean It When I Say I Do” by Matthew West and danced on a cloud thanks to a dry ice machine effect. It was Amy who was all smiles as Jim and his posse surprised her with a choreographed dance routine to Prairie League’s song “Amy.”

Throughout the night, a slide show played on big screens featuring pictures of Amy and Jim as kids through their life together. Pictures from the ceremony and earlier in the day were included in the slide show making it extra special courtesy of the photographer.

Uplighting, gobos, and a White Sox themed photo booth helped everyone enjoy the celebration and at 10 pm, pizza kept them fueled to dance all night.
