Small, personal, and traditional were what was asked for at the Cooey -Slicker wedding at the Hobart Community Center in Hobart, Indiana. They got all that and a more on their special day, “it could not have been more perfect.” – Bride
Mia’s Quinceñera was a stylish and fun party fit for MTV. The event took place May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, in the upstairs banquet room at Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Guests enjoyed the delicious roasted chicken and mashed potatoes and saved room for dessert – a three-tiered cake decorated in hot pink and zebra stripes.
The students and a few teachers danced from the moment they arrived at the 2012 Chicago Academy for the Arts Prom at Lido Banquets in Chicago.
Guests at Lena and John Paul’s wedding gave the couple presents everyone could enjoy. Some friends gifted them with a photo booth for their reception held at the Calumet City American Legion Hall, Post 330. Other friends gave the couple a performance by the Little People troupe.
Susie’s Sweet 16, her golden birthday, entertained her friends and family at St. Mary’s Orthodox Center in Merrillville, IN. Guests loved the uplighting, balloon arch, sweets table, and slide show.
Kelley & Sarah had a small wedding with family and friends at the American Legion in Highland, Indiana. They wanted their wedding reception to be a party so they skipped some of the normal wedding formalities and spent more time with the guests chatting and dancing the night away.
The Harris-Roberts wedding started off very elegant at the Croatian Center in Merrillville, Indiana with ceremony drapery followed by a reception with uplighting, monogram, and a live band.

A spaghetti dinner benefit for Douglas Rachowicz showed the communities support and generosity for an American Hero. The event was held on March 24th, 2012 at the American Legion Post 232, Hammond, Indiana.
The eagle riders, a U.S. Senator, AVMRA Chapter 1 (American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association) and many others came out to support Rachowicz, a local veteran from the 713th Engineer Company out of Valparaiso, Indiana who was the only survivor from an IED (improvised explosive device) blast January 6th in Khandahar, Afghanistan.
