Carmita & Mark’s Sunflower Wedding | Angry Birds | Chateau Banquets | DJ

Carmita and Mark chose to keep the sunflower themed wedding very family oriented throughout the reception at Chateau Banquets of Merrillville, Indiana.

Carmita and Mark’s kids were the wedding party, so coming in to introductions with the nicknames of the kids like “fashionista,” “Micheal Recycle,” and the “shortest superhero ever” made the guests fall out of their seats laughing.

To be released for the dinner buffet of chicken epicurean and roast beef in beef gravy, guests answered questions about Carmita and Mark such as where they met and what is Carmita’s nickname.

 

The guests were given an open mic to share a few words about the bride and groom in place of speeches or a toast by the best man or maid of honor as many guests came young and old came up to say congratulations and more.

Later in the evening after the garter and bouquet toss, the kids came up for an Angry Bird toss where the best man and maid of honor tossed out two Angry Bird pillows. Finishing off the wedding, guests took home some Garrett’s popcorn as wedding favors that helped compliment the Sunflower theme.
