Jasso – Punzalan Fairy Tale Wedding | Chateau Banquets | Merrillville, IN | DJ

Happily ever after came true during a fairy Tale wedding Nov. 3 at Chateau Banquets in Merrillville, Indiana. The new Mr. and Mrs. Punzalan made their ceremony and reception magical with a tribute to all things Disney. Every detail from the DJ’s computer to the table names to the Mickey Mouse shaped light projections made guests feel like this was the happiest wedding on earth.

The fairy tale-themed ceremony took place in a small room next to the reception area. The bride entered heralded by sign bearers holding signs in the shape of a Mickey and Minnie head that said “Once Upon a Time” and “Here Comes the Bride.” After saying vows fit for a prince and his princess, the bride and groom exited to “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. The signs now read “Mr. & Mrs. Punzalan, November 3, 2012” and “Happily Ever After.”

Mickey and Minnie also found their way into the photo booth with Disney themed props and a Disney themed memory book for guests’ pictures. The second photo strip could be taken home as a souvenir in the holder found at their place cards.

Mickey and Minnie shapes dotted the ceremony program, unity candle, wine glasses and were hiding in many more places. To help guests get in the magical spirit, they had the option of switching into white slippers for a night of dancing like a fairytale princess.

One special note was that everyone who grabbed a ceremony program received a silver ribbon to be worn in honor of everyone affected by lung cancer.
