Melissa and Matt Share Frosting | Halls of Justice | Crown Point | Uplighting

Melissa and Matt shared some frosting at their wedding reception with some uplighting at the Halls of Justice in Crown Point, Indiana.

Guests wagered a bet of who was to smash the cake in the others face. Melissa’s glass had the most cash at the end of the night as guests were transferring money back and forth after making a donation and placed plastic over one glass to prevent guests from placing money in that glass. Melissa placed a smidge of frosting on Matt’s nose and a few dabs around his mouth in ladylike fashion.

Phil, Matt’s best man, showed off plenty of dance moves throughout the night along with a few family tradition polkas. He also shared a story during toasts about him and his brother Matt running around in tighty whities on the golf course with berries smashed on them when they were little boys.

Pulled pork, beef brisket, and other barbecue goodness was served buffet  style by Atrium Catering. Guests answered personal questions about Matt and Melissa that were on the wedding favors to be invited to the buffet line.  Purple wireless uplighting around the room provided a nice glow around the room replacing the lighting from the chandeliers and sconces. The night ended with a sing along to “time of my life” from Dirty Dancing and the guests posing for a giant group photo.
