5th Annual Prom Fashion Show – Portage High School – Portage Indiana

Portage High School always knows how to have a good time at their 5th Annual Prom Fashion Show. This fashion show was a preview of all the formal wear from Louie’s Tuxedo’s, Dunhill Tuxedos, Catherine’s Bridal Boutique, Paris House of Bridal and Fashion and more for the prom taking place in May.  Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) sponsoring the event with proceeds going to purchase more Artificial Electronic Defibrillators for  Portage High School. 219 Productions is happy every year they call for a disc jockey to perform at the Portage Prom Fashion Show.

The 1st round of the Prom Fashion Show gave everyone a preview of the dresses and allowed the participants to shake any butterflies from their belly. At this time the guests were still coming in, reading their program, and finding their family and friends in the audience. With over 75 models, this year was the largest to date.

The intermission was a chance to mingle with the vendors and win some cool prizes. Paris House of Bridal and Fashion from Michigan City, and Catherine’s Bridal Boutique of Valparaiso raffled off prom dresses.

The 2nd round of the Portage Prom Fashion Show started off with a boom as the first models came out to Aaron Carters “Come Get it.” This round was a chance for some fun. Couples danced, let loose, and showed off their moves and style as they walked the t-shaped stage. At the end of the show the vendors and models got a shout out from the emcee of the evening, and the audience had a chance to see the new styles for this years prom.
