Roberts-Harris Wedding – Merrillville, IN – Croatian Center

The Harris-Roberts wedding started off very elegant at the Croatian Center in Merrillville, Indiana with ceremony drapery followed by a reception with uplighting, monogram, and a live band.

Harris Roberts Wedding Ceremony KissThe bride and groom had a little mishap when they couldn’t light one of the candles to ignite the Unity Candle together. The bride also had difficulty finding her vows on her iPhone. Pastor Crossley from Catch the Fire Christian Fellowship Church livened up the crowd by saying “take all the time, it’s your day.” The bride again was shocked when the groom said “you put the ring on the wrong finger.” Later on a guest said the groom was a jokester.

Once the guests settled into the reception and after cutting the Patron Silver cake (see picture below), the bride and groom had their first dance, dancing to “love of my life” by Brian Mcknight. Triple Dose started off the evening after the first dance and opened with a tribute to “Wish on a Star” by Rolls Royce. They also played Kool and the Gang “Get Down On It”, Isley Brothers, Michael Jackson “Rock With You” and other classic selections.Harris Roberts Wedding Cake

219 Productions had the honor of decorating the reception area with some drapery and the stage with uplighting and a gobo or monogram. Javina from Memorable Moments Décor & Events brought all the vendors together this evening to create a once and a lifetime wedding for Mr. & Mrs. John Harris.

I do like the lighting of the room a lot! I’m a wedding DJ in Switzerland. It is really impressing to see, what work you do! I like it a lot! Keep up the good work!
