Slicker Wedding – Hobart Community Center – Hobart Indiana

Small, personal, and traditional were what was asked for at the Cooey -Slicker wedding at the Hobart Community Center in Hobart, Indiana. They got all that and a more on their special day, “it could not have been more perfect.” – Bride

Scuba steve was the big hit of the night at the wedding. The Jaws theme song came on and Mr. Slicker came out with his snorkeling gear to remove the garter. The bride and the groom both played with their guests during the garter and bouquet toss by tossing them up slightly causing quite the stir.

The anniversary dance was another huge hit. A Lovers Lane gift card was given to the 2nd longest married couple at the wedding. The longest married couple was the mother and father of the groom with 41 years. A Red Lobster gift card was awarded to the longest married and 3rd longest married couple.

Tables were released for the dinner buffet by answering quiz questions about the bride and groom.  A culinary teacher at Ivy Tech provided the buffet.  Joe from Eivan’s Photography covered the Hobart wedding and taught me a few things about wedding photography. 219 Productions provided the Hobart disc jockey and dance floor lighting.

THANK YOU for an amazing night! Words can not describe how thankful we are. You went above and beyond everything we expected. Our friends and families are still talking about how great you were and how lucky we were to have found you. I can’t recall ever attending a wedding where the DJ interacted so much with the guests, dancing, helping family members and so much more. I can’t go on and on enough about how special our night was because of you. Thank you again so much for everything!
