The Logan Eastman Elegant Affair | The Allure | LaPorte DJ

The bride and groom celebrated their stylish wedding ceremony and reception at the Allure of LaPorte, Indiana with lots of dancing, some comedy, a DJ, candy table, and more.

Laporte Wedding Ceremony

The bride’s aunt officiated the ceremony downstairs, as guests sat in chiavari chairs greeted by the bride and groom. Paris Combo and other French themed music  played for cocktail hour as appetizers and drinks were served.Laporte DJ Wedding Cake

As guests walked up they found their way upstairs, they were greeting by place cards and quickly found their seats before grand entrances. The grooms friend, a comedian, introduced everyone from the stair cases. The DJ played Allan Parson’s Project – Sirius as the comedian gave details or toasted the couples being introduced.

The bride’s father thanked everyone for coming, shared stories about the bride, and his relationship with the groom. The groomsman referenced Simpson’s episodes during his toast and finished off with a Scooby Doo reference.Laporte DJ

Guests were ready to hit the dance floor just after dinner was served and started showing some wild moves before the first dances. The groom romantically dipped his new wife for a kiss and during the dance with his mother, picked her up and twirled her around to Janis Joplin  – Mercedes Benz.

The cake was self-serve, a Parisian delight made with chocolate and a strawberry filling like a Fannie May candy. A plated meal of chicken and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus filled the bellies of guests. M&M’s, pretzels, cookies, Hershey’s kisses and more kept guests energized throughout the evening at the candy table.

Crazy dance moves weren’t only for dinner, but the guests started a soul train line and dancing circles themselves. Before the celebration ended, the bride and groom gathered their belongings and exited in a grand fashion high-fiving everyone in line on their way out.

Paul Segal and 219 Productions did an amazing job with our wedding. From start to finish, the evening moved seamlessly. Paul was very attentive to our needs and did a wonderful job tailoring the night to “us.” We’ll be looking back on the night with watery eyes for years to come!
