The guests at the Chicago Firefighters graduation were “keeping it real hot at the Marriott” with drinks, dinner, photobooth, photography, uplighting, monograms and one smokin’ DJ.
The firefighter’s graduating class of 2014 for Chicago knows how to party. They held their graduation party at the Marriott O’Hare in Chicago in one of the ballrooms on site. The venue was host to many cheeky shenanigans that night as firefighters, friends, and significant others shared in the festivities and celebration of entrance into the life of a firefighter. The hall was decorated by the DJ with stunning kelly green uplighting and two Chicago Firefighters emblem monograms on the back wall.
Guests of the night piled into the ballroom searching for finger foods and delicious drinks at the many bars located inside. As guests wet their tongues on cocktails and green beer, outside a silver backdrop was set up to capture photographs of couples and graduates. People lined up for a chance to get a free photo taken and view it on an online gallery.
Inside the back right of the hall a photobooth was eagerly printing out photos of guests who donned silly props and kept a strip in memorial of the night.
The DJ announced the guest speakers of the night as guests sat themselves down after loading up on sweet potatoes, salads, chicken and beef along with sautéed veggies.
The color guard presented the flags and guest speakers spoke about brotherhood, those who have fallen in the line of duty, and how sacred the task was that was set out before them. A prayer was said over the food to bless the future and those who have passed in the firefighting world. Later in the evening, party goers circulated while eating, drinking, dancing and taking photos all night. Each guest took home a complimentary glass with the monogram on it and a beer koozie. All night long the DJ spun the greatest music, as the party finally wound down guests took to the elevators to go to their rooms, remembering the night fondly forever.
