Tim and Kayla’s Borderlands Wedding | Halls of St. George | Uplighting

Tim and Kayla called the shots during their wedding at the Halls of St. George. Their theme was Borderlands, a first person shooter video game, and they carried it out with a game-themed monogram, centerpieces with the game mascot and tokens hidden around their room full of colorful uplighting.

 

Other nods to their favorite pastime included a game “cache” box for cards, a giant game map hung on the wall that guests could sign and a game themed cake with mascots wearing a tie and veil.

The outdoor ceremony was held in the gazebo, lit in the game colors. Speakers were hidden in the tree line to provide a way for guests to hear while maintaining the outdoor beauty. Microphones on the officiant, groom, and on a stand were used for readings. The couple included a knot tying ceremony and will tie another knot on the rope for each anniversary.

 

Inside, the reception room was full of dancing and uplighting. The couple, along with their family and friends, had a great time together enjoying each other, the music and food at this beautiful and fun wedding.
